  • his son Charles I., the future King of England, born on 19. November 1600, decapitated on 30. January 1649; since June 1625 married to Henriette Mary (1609-1669), the youngest daughter of Henry IV. of France (link only available in German) and Maria de' Medici; Charles I. and Henriette Mary had nine children
